Our comprehensive Online 1st Grade Math Class aligns with educational standards and offers a solid foundation in essential math concepts through engaging and interactive activities. They will master basic addition and subtraction, solve simple word problems, and explore concepts of more, less, and equal. Measurement and data activities include comparing and ordering objects by size, length, weight, and capacity, understanding time concepts, and creating simple graphs. Pattern recognition and classification are integral, where students create and extend patterns and classify objects based on attributes. Are these group classes?
Yes, the majority of our classes are group sessions. However, all group classes begin with individual one-on-one sessions with the teacher. We do not place students in the same group until we are confident that their skill levels match and that combining classes will benefit all participants. This ensures a tailored learning experience and maximizes each student's potential.
Are these classes on campus or online?
All our classes at Sakina School are conducted online. Our teachers are highly trained to make online classes engaging and to maintain students' concentration throughout the session. We employ traditional teaching methods, where instructors use a virtual whiteboard for class lectures, ensuring an interactive and effective learning experience.
